The generatrix of the inner ring and outer ring raceway of tapered roller bearing and the center line of the roller intersect the shaft of the bearing at a point. The special structure of tapered roller bearings enables them to withstand combined loads.
Single-row tapered roller bearings can withstand radial load and axial load in a single direction. Its axial load capacity depends on the contact angle of the bearing. The larger the contact angle is, the higher the axial load capacity is.
